MMOEXP: Berserk naturally extends to Elden Ring
It's my personal belief that the sword fields of Elden Ring Runes serve the same purpose. I would like to believe that they're intended to honour Miura and his passing affected those familiar with his work. If they were added to Elden Ring before or after his passing, we'll not know, but it's certainly a appropriate tribute to the man who influenced so many of the game's predecessors.
In addition to Starscourge Radahn, one of my most favorite characters from Elden Ring has to be a beautiful fellow by the name of Blaidd who is a Half-Wolf. As his name suggests, he's a cross between a man and a wolf, His appearance and personality has drawn lots of attention from Berserk players from the time of the game's reveal in June 2021. The glimpse of him howling atop his atop Mistwood Ruins was immediately compared to Miura's work.
In Berserk, series protagonist Guts gets entrusted with the Berserker Armor, a terrifying piece of equipment that draws on the negative emotions of the user to provide them with unimaginable strength. Although most of the time it just looks like an ordinary, if slightly pointed-looking suit of armor, it takes on an imposing, wolf-like appearance when Guts allows it to take advantage of his anger in battle.
Much like Guts is gifted the Berserker Armor, you're eventually given Blaidd's armor in Elden Ring Runes for sale, allowing you to live out your dreams of a FromSoftware-developed Berserk game. I won't go into details about how the armor comes to you however if you've had any experience with previous Souls games, you can probably determine. It's not a good issue.
